Holiday celebrations are one good opportunity to connect with colleagues and learn more about members of the team. Use celebrations throughout the year to improve team spirit:  birthdays, work anniversaries, new team members, promotions and retirements.

You can also plan potlucks or hold a monthly rotation of events where one group, such as the nurses or doctors, cooks for the rest of the practice.
